The Big Draw

In 2020 The Big Green Draw Festival A Climate of Change focused on the relationship between people and our living environments and ecosystems; highlighting how we live today and the ways in which we do and do not harmonise with nature.
This online workshop took form with a soap carving tutorial of a bird; the bird, symbolising a beacon of hope in these uncertain times. The workshop was one hour long and covered a spoken introduction to the theme, soap carving techniques, paint application, and a closing Q & A with members of the audience.
